Family

They came!!!  Thursday consisted of class, grocery shopping, and packing.  Class was good we talked about Brand Marketing and staying true to your brand.  After class I made a shopping list and went shopping so when my family came we wouldn’t be spending a fortune on food while they were here.  Keep in mind it takes like three hours to go grocery shopping via bus transportation...ugh!  After shopping it was time to pack and figure out how I was going to get all of the rubbish to our resort.  My roommate was already heading that way so I snagged a ride with her, thanks Amber!!
I got checked in and then I waited….and waited…and waited!
They finally showed up around midnight or just after.  I was so excited to see them.  We quickly made sleeping arrangements and then it was time to bed to rest for an eventful vacation.

                                               Animal Kingdom

Friday we had a slow start so decided to hit up Animal Kingdom first.  We got our fast passes for Kilimanjaro Safari and then danced in the streets with African dancers.

Cade being a Hippo

"Are the upside down trees real?", "You must be new to Disney!"

After that we rode Everest twice in a row.  Don’t recommend that for the older folks.  Mom and Dad’s heads and stomachs were spinning.  Then we wondered over to get fast passes for Dinosaur and in between our wait time we enjoyed Nemo: The Musical.  Super cute production.

Then it was time for dinner (FYI men can’t skip a meal, learned that the hard way) in England.  So we ventured over to Epcot to enjoy Fish and Chips in the United Kingdom.  Then we walked through 11 different countries and enjoyed the night show Luminations. Day 1 down.

Hollywood Studios

Saturday was Disney Hollywood Studios, my home away from home.  I had to work this night so we figured that it was be easy just for us to enjoy our day here.  Again we had a slow start this morning so the first thing we did when we got there was got fast passes to Rock n Roller Coaster.  Then we enjoyed on of Disney’s classics “One Jumbo Turkey Leg, one” (said in an Asian accent).

Then Erin went off to pursue her dreams in being on American Idol while the rest of us rode Star Tours.  Erin’s dreams where crushed!  Sorry Erin next time.

Then we rode Rock n roller coaster then it was time for us to part ways I went to work while they continued to enjoy DHS!!!  The little stinkers went to the Si Fi Diner without me! It is where you get to sit in a car at the drive in and enjoy a nice meal and a movie.

Enjoying the Car Stunt Show
They even came and visited me at Hollywood Scoops where I was working!!

Beach

Sunday being the Sabbath we made it a relaxing day at the beach and enjoyed a nice shrimp dinner.  Cade tried out surfing and was actually pretty good, once I swam out there to help him that is. Oh this day was a little stressful getting a rental car and then driving in a Florida.  No worries everything got worked out and no one got in a wreck.  Check out our ride!  Can you say clown car!!

Universal Studios
Monday was Harry Potter World day!! This was the main thing I wanted to do when I came to Florida and I finally got to!  Thanks mom and dad for taking me!! Once we got to Universal we went straight to Harry Potter World with everyone else.  They did a really good job on capturing Hogsmade and Hogwarts.  We waited over an hour and half to ride the ride within the castle and it was so worth it.  I was just eating it up! Snapping pictures left and right! Butter Beer….amazing!  I took my cousins advise and got the suviouner cup, thanks Jake, best decision ever.  Olivanders was also cool!  If you are a Harry Potter fan go and even if you aren’t still go awesome park.

YUM!!

"10 points to Gryffindor"
Then of course we experience other parts of Universal Island of Adventure like the HULK, super fun fast ride and Jurassic Park was really cool too.  Made we want to watch the movie!!   And maybe in 3D in the theaters!!

                                   Magic Kingdom

Tuesday was back to Disney!  The finally park that they hadn’t experienced yet….Magic Kingdom.  We rode Big Thunder, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion.  Watched The Hall of Presidents, ask Erin about how awesome the actors where in that.

Gaston
Then half way through the day it was time for our afternoon nap so we went back to the hotel and rested.  Me and Erin hit the pool and sun.

Once we were all rested it was time for dinner.  In a split decision we were on the bus to Epcot to enjoy some Chinese food.  Awesome choice for dinner.

After that we hurried back to Magic Kingdom to watch the light parade.  After the parade the parentals headed back to the room while we stayed and literally walked on to about five or six rides like Peter Pan, Pirates, Winnie the Pooh, The Tea Cups, The Little Mermaid.  That folks, is how you do Magic Kingdom.

Epcot

Wednesday the final day of fun.  It was a beautiful overcast day and we went to Epcot to ride the rides.  First we did Soarin and everything else in The Land building.  That is the building that is all about helping the environment and you feel so healthy and fresh.  Then we walked around the world again and got lunch.  Between all of us we tasted three different countries Japan, Morocco, and America!  Epcot is a cool park, very rich in culture.  After lunch we enriched our lives with more culture.  Then we ended our trip with a ride on Test Track and dinner in France.

It was a once in a life time trip and glad I could experience with the people I love.  Thanks for coming and visiting me.

Now looking ahead I have a 48 hour week!  Wish me luck!  Living the Disney Dream!

Have a Magical Day!!
