Endless Milkshakes

Man the weeks are flying! It’s kind of bitter sweet that I go home in 11 days, 21 hours, 49 mins, and 04 seconds!  Well this week was really fun!  One day before work, let say Tuesday, but I honestly can’t remember! I only remember three days of the week Sunday and y two days off which end up being Thursday and Friday!  Anywho Tuesday before work I went and visited Art of Animation Resort….one word…CUTE!! I will just post lots of pictures because they do all the talking.

 

Thursday I had class, it was kind of long and boring not going to lie, but it was on something that doesn’t really interest me…Customer Relations and mailers!  After class I met up with Sarah and we went to the Outlets, yes the out lets again!!  Then Chelsey meet us and Sarah had to leave to go to work!  We mainly just looked around no purchases yet….then it was off to Downtown Disney for lunch at Earl’s and more shopping!!  I found a super cute maxi skirt at Blink aka Wet Seal!!  After that it was on to the Animal Kingdom Lodge…wait the Wilderness Lodge!  Yea I thought they were the same place..nope two different places!!   

We made it to the Whispering Canyon for endless shakes and endless means you can have multiples not just one giant one…Chelsey!  After three rounds of shakes and some corn bread we headed randomly to Magic Kingdom to say hi to Sarah and Makayla!   And of course a quick ride on Space!!

Friday was another fun day!  Started off with a run which ended in runners knee..lame!  But felt good to work of those milkshakes!  Then I met up with Makayla to mark some things off my Disney Bucket List at Epcot…bust!! I got there to meet Alice but she was just ending her set and not going to be back for a couple of hours and they didn’t have the Beatle’s shirt I wanted in the UK so we just left and went to Hollywood Studios for guess what another milkshake.  I need to do some Turbo Fire..stat!  Then Chels met up with us and we watched the car stunt show….AMAZING!!!  Super cool!! I loved the smell of hot cars and rubber, reminded me of the Summit County Derby!! After that we rode Coaster and our favorite song was playing… “dude looks like a lady”  Car number five folks, that’s the car to ride to hear that song.  We rode Tower in the front row!! Loved it! 

Then we did the great movie ride and just chilled and then add diner at Si Fi drive in!! Since my family went without me...thanks guys, I had to go!  It was so fun and super yummy.  I got the appetizer chicken wings as my entrée…super yummy.  If you know me I don’t share my chicken wings…love them!! 

After that we finished our night with Fantasmic!! FYI to all that go, if is a cooler night don’t sit in the first 10 rows because you will get misted, not drenched misted and it’s cooled!! 

Then it was Saturday where I went to a safety meeting and then worked…boo! But I did get to close Produce on inventory day which means free churros!! “One Churro please!!” I had three!!

Sunday was church!! I love church!! The spirit was amazing today and the lesson where great just what I needed to hear.  I love the Lord and his eternal plan.  Here’s to my second to last week!!

Hooky

What a super fun week I have had this week! Probably my funnest week besides the week my family came.  Sunday was so fun just relaxing at Lexi house with dinner and Pitched Perfect, it was the last time I saw her before she left.  Hope to see her in Utah sometime real soon!!

Monday was a long but so fun!! I went to Blizzard Beach, the best of the two water parks here at Disney.  I felt like I was at home in PC because it’s Blizzard Beach so there is ski lifts to take you to the “ski jump”, different winter lodges around with snow references! Super cute and fun.  I went with my roommate and her fellow co workers, a fun group of people.

I did it, I went on the super scary tall body slide!  There were these one rides where you rode mats like the big slides at Raging Waters but there were no hill that you had to try and get over….

I did however have to work after, not cool!!

Thursday!! My off day!  My day started off with class learning all about marketing for Disney Cruise Line!! I want to go on a cruise, a Disney cruise!  After class I met up with some friends at the Boardwalk.  First quick story about leaving my ID on the bus, thankfully there was a co worker that found it and Facebooked me and was so kind to drop it off at Guest Relations.  Didn’t even know it was missing and it is super important because it has my housing ID, my blue ID, and my key to my apartment.  I would be stranded, I wouldn’t be able to get on to housing property and get to into the parks and i.e work!  So thankful for Maria!!  After retrieving my key I met up with Chels, MaKayla, and Steve!  We rented a boat and just drove around the bay around the Boardwalk and Yacht and Beach!  So fun!! 

  

After that we Cleaned the Sink at Beaches and Cream. Check that off my bucket list.  Then it was off to Hollywood Studios.

We rode Tower and Coaster, of course!  Then we ate dinner at 50’s Prime Time, another thing checked off my list!  It was a very successful day.

 Friday!! First started off with a couple of loads of laundry and then met up at Chelsey’s to have brunch with the Missionaries.  It was a good time!  I love feeding the missionaries and hearing all of their stories and the amazing spirit they bring with them and their lessons.  After the missionaries left Chels and I just headed to Magic Kingdom to cross yet another thing off of my list, Splash Mountain.  It was so fun and yes we got wet, more like soaked! 

  

After Splash we rode Big Thunder and then went and chilled on Tom Sawyers Island and talked and talked and talked.  It was so good to talk to her.  I feel like I have know her all my life, she is an awesome girl.  After that we grabbed a cream cheese pretzel and headed home to watch High School Musical!!!

Saturday I played hooky!  Never done that before!  I called in. Makayla convinced me to call it and it felt awesome.  We had a girl’s day!! Chels, MaKayla and I shopped at the outlets.  I got a killer deal on some super cute wedges, never owned a pair in my life!! They are really cute!! After shoppings we went and got pedicures, oh my goodness, I was so good!  I haven’t had one since beauty school!  Pretty sure I will be a frequent pedi getter! 

After that was dinner at Panera Bread!! YUM!! Then a quick walmart run for hair dye and 5 dollar movies.  I finally found Valentine’s Day!! Love that movie!!  After Walmart I dyed MaKayla’s hair! I actually miss doing hair, it felt good to get behind the chair again.  After that was High School Musical 2, yes we are having a marathon!!

Today was stake conference!  It was good, but we had a hard time paying attention.  I got to see Brady after a month and a half.  That kid is too funny!  I love this gospel! Heavenly Father has truly blessed my life and my families.  Can’t wait to be back in Utah where the church is so strong, but the church is true everywhere not just the “Mother Ship”!!  18ish days!!

Good Bye's

 I had a great week this past week.  I worked hard and played harder.  I can’t think of anything memorable about work….lets think…umm nope not really.  Oh wait on Tuesday I think it was, I thought I was going to be late for the bus so I rushed out of the apartment and made it just in time to jump on to the E bus.  As I was sitting there looking at the time and doing the math to when I start it just wasn’t adding up. Curse you military time!  I arrived an hour and half early to Hollywood Studios before my shift.  It was ok because I happen to work at the park that has the 2^nd best roller coaster in all of Disney, Rock n Roller Coaster!!  So I rode that a few times and then stopped at the Great Movie Ride on my way to costuming to get ready for work.   Also Wednesday before my shift I decided to do a little resort hopping by myself because I have never seen inside of the Grand Floridian and I had time before my shift so why not.  It is so pretty inside.  Someday when I am rich I will stay there for a few weeks.  

After that I went to the Polynesian to look around and ran it my friend Katie.  She works there and was in between shifts so we got to talk and hang out for a bit.  It worked out perfect because she was leaving that coming Friday and I needed to talk to her about our plans to hang out Thursday before she left. Coincidence, I think not!!  We shared some nachos and Dole whip.  I am missing that girl!  Such I life loving LDS girl from Virginia Beach!!

Thursday was my day off, finally a my normal day off!  I had class in the morning and we talked about DVC aka Disney Vacation Club aka Disney Time Share.  It was an interesting class.  If I was rich I would pay into DVC, maybe one day.  After class I just chilled for a bit then Chelsey and I had a late lunch at the Grand Floridian, Flat Bread Pizza…YUM!!!  After that we went to Hollywood Studios to meet up with Katie Kelly.  We got there before her so we caught the end of the Indiana Jones show and then rode Star Tours!! If you haven’t heard there are over 52 different ride sequences for Star Tours so your more than likely not going to ride the same ride twice.  The one that I rode with Chelsey has been my favorite thus far.  After that we were just walking the Streets of America when we turned the corner and all of these random characters were there and they were just walking around in madness of guests.  There was like Chip and Dale, Pinocchio, Jasmine, the Genie, Stitch, just really random characters.  We snagged a few photos, which reminds me I need to get those from Chels.  After that we meet up with Katie and her co-worker Oasis.  Are first stop was Toy Story but the line was way too long, so we stood in line to meet Woody and Buzz!! Woody was a giant!! 

  

After that Chelsey worked up enough courage to ride Tower of Terror and she loved it!!   

Then Rock n Roller Coaster.  After that we decided to go see how long Toy Story was, because Katie was leaving the next day and hadn’t ridden it yet.  The wait time was longer…we stood in line for a little bit but Chels and I had fast passes to Rock n Roller Coaster so we jumped out of line and went and used those and then rode it again and again.  I think we rode it back to back 3 or 4 times before the park closed.  After that we headed to Splittsville for Katie’s going away party!! Cyd and Sarah came too!! It was so much fun.  Katie also had her fellow CP co-workers come, it was a party.  We ate, we danced, we laughed!

Friday was another day off…woot woot!  After our late night me and Chels got up to go to Epcot with her Uncle and Aunt.  I had them use my last Main Gate, so I had to be there to let them in.  It was a really fun morning.  We rode the little boat ride in The Land, I love that place.  Then we rode the Finding Nemo ride, first time!  It was super cute.  Then we rode Space Ship Earth, another first for me.  Very cool ride.  Then we rode Soarin!! LOVE that ride.  The smell of the pine trees just gets me excited for summer camp trips in Utah!!!  After Soarin I said my good byes because I needed to go home and make cupcakes for the missionaries.  I had dinner over at Lexi’s with the missionaries.  Elder Knapp is one funny kid!!  Also the message the Elders left with us was just what I needed.  I am going to miss missionary dinners with Lexi because guess what she leaves on Wednesday! : (

Saturday I worked!

Today, Sunday I was suppose to work but someone else wanted a shift so I gave it to them.  I got to go to church to all three meetings it was awesome.  Love the gospel in my life.  Also got to be with some lovely ladies.  Tonight entails dinner and a movie with Lexi!!
